FIHUNU MAS



1 any type of fish
5 garlic cloves
1 small onion roughly chopped
4 red chillies or ½ scotch bonnet (optional)
2tsp chilli powder
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp ground cumin
2 sprig curry leaf
1½ tsp Salt
1 lime juice
Grind all together to a smooth paste
taste to check if it needs more salt or lime juice.


1. Preheat oven at 200 C . Cover a baking tray with foil and spread a little oil on it.

2. Clean fish, make diagonal cuts about ½ inches apart , across the flesh.
Pat dry with kitchen towels

3.Rub the spice paste into the fish. Make sure to fill the cavities and the slashed areas well so the spice will flavour the fish well

4. Bake for 30-40 minutes till done
